Smile gets its first mention in the paper.
On Tuesday 29th Sept, I had a really enjoyable chat with Kiren Parmar and the members of Tamworth's book club. Kiren gave me a lovely little shout out on Tamworth Radio on Thursday 1st Oct which I thought I'd share 😊
Way back in March, when we were all still allowed to play out, I took part in Tamworth's literary book festival and got speaking to a lovely author called Trish Moran. Trish does interviews with authors on her website and asked if I wanted to be interviewed...obviously I said yes 😁. Here is a link to her website for those of you who would like to read it.
Tamworth Literary Book Festival - March 2020
I had a great time holding two workshops at Rawlett and Polesworth high schools and being part of Tamworth's Literary Festival. The children were enthusiastic and full of great ideas which will hopefully one day become great stories. They were also interested to hear a little bit about me and my writing journey. Thanks to everyone involved. Hopefully I'll be invited back to speak again one day.
"Ed was really engaging - the boys in the class particularly enjoyed hearing about E.J Parry's life and writing." - C.Pirrie (Head of English)
"Great and engaging...Very inspiring and relatable story. Ed was very encouraging of the students and they really enjoyed it." - Joseph Ray (Librarian).
Author talk at Atherstone library 4.03.20
Unfortunately, I forgot to take any pictures from my author talk, hopefully they'll have me back again though and I'll take some then. I did however have a lovely afternoon talking about myself, my writing journey and of course about Golem. Thank you to everyone who came and to the library for organising it.
